RULES ((FIRST READ))

1. Once registered please change your display name to a full name.

2. Please write your role play in third person and in past tense, using he, she, they etc... not I, My, Me, etc...

3. Try to maintain proper grammar and spelling as best as you can.

4. Describe in your role play. It makes it more interesting for people to read.

5. Post a minimum of 4-5 lines in a thread, any less and you will be warned by a member of staff.

6. Do not god-mod (making some one else’s character do some thing they did not say in the previous thread.) and do not use ‘slang’ in your writing. Please use the appropriate English.

7. Please try and keep as active as you can, we discourage more than 3 characters a computer. Though if you can keep all of them active, you will be allowed to keep all of them.

8. Please respect all the members on NCIS. Do not go round just causing trouble. This will suffer an instant ban and possibly a permanent ban.

9. This is a role play site based upon the films and books of NCIS. Any thing that dose not appear in the film or books is copyrighted to this site, and we do not expect any one to take it and use it else were.

10. Please reframe from spamming the board with your advertisements’, there is a thread were you can advertise your site please only ever use this thread. You may also advertise in your signature or on the C-box, in your name but you can not draw attention to it. Posting links around the forum will be punished with an irreversible ban. . . . .
Please Read And Take The Time To Understand All Of The Rules On This Site.

11. Do not put people down. This is a character site and not a place where you can make fun of people.

12. If you have a problem with another member come to me first so I can deal with it.

13. Do not do anything to offend or intentionally hurt another member.

14. Be respectful of all other members.

15. Be helpful to newer and/or confused members.

16. Do not steal other peoples' work. That includes: posts, characters and character profiles, graphics.(ie banners) if you wish to borrow something from a member, you MUST ask him/her first and if they let you, you MUST credit him/her. Stealing and plagirizing other people's work is illegal and not right. It makes us all feel very bad and sad. Especially if it's your work that's being stolen. So if you don't want others to make you feel bad, don't make them feel bad by taking their work and then taking credit for it. You will be surprised how hard it is not together caught. If you RP on the same types of boards or the same genre, most likely you will know at least one person, sometimes more, on multiple of the same boards with you.

Character Rules

1. You may only have three characters.
2. You are not allowed to steal another member's character, without admin, or the member's permission.
3. If you have a Canon Character change your name to that character, or I will do it for you.
4. If you have a Canon Character, and have been gone for a week without telling somebody where you went, or PMing me, or even make simple post in the absences board, you will lose your position. That is to make sure we have active members for the important position.
5. Family of cannon characters, please pm a member of staff before creating you character, to check that we all agree.

Posting Rules

1. Do not double post. (Post twice in a row without letting someone else to post.)
2. Do not spam, or you will be banned, and/or deleted.
3. Only post with characters that you own and have been accepted.
4. No advertising anywhere except for the advertising and affiliating boards.
5. Please try to keep in character. (It can be difficult to get back into it after you have left.)
6. When you are about to post a fact, research and make sure that you have everything correct, so as to not make a fool of yourself. If you're not sure, double check!
